Who is responsible
LUCENT FRAME LTD is the controller of personal information used to operate this website and respond to enquiries. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17460087. Our registered office and business correspondence address is Labyrinth Business Centre 43-47 Middle Hillgate, Stockport, England, SK1 3DG.

Information we receive and why
If you email us, we receive the address you use, your name and business contact details if supplied, your message, attachments you choose to send and email-delivery information. We use this information to understand and respond to your enquiry, discuss possible services and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. Keep initial messages general and do not send confidential business records or sensitive personal information. We agree evidence handling separately before any audit or client work.
When you visit, Netlify, which delivers the website, processes technical request information needed to serve and protect it. This can include your IP address, date and time, requested address, browser or device information and request identifiers. We use this information through our provider for website delivery, security and fault investigation. This release has no advertising trackers, behavioural analytics, enquiry form backend, newsletter, booking system or checkout. We do not configure a separate traffic-log drain.
The Business Friction Snapshot and discussion-note tool work in your current browser page. Answers and note text are not submitted by website scripts. A download saves a file on your device and a copy action writes to your clipboard. Your browser history or session-restoration features may preserve local entries. See Cookies and browser data.
Our lawful bases
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and operate a secure, functioning website. Our interests are communicating with people who approach us about our services and protecting website delivery. We use only information reasonably needed for those purposes, taking account of your rights and expectations.
Where you personally ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we use information necessary to take those steps. Working for a client company does not by itself make you personally party to its contract. We do not add website enquirers to direct marketing lists.
Your right to object
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object for reasons relating to your situation. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the use is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing if it is undertaken.
Who can receive the information
Patrick Breheny and Bryan Grime can access the general Lucent Frame mailbox. Google Mail provides the email service. The mailbox is not automatically forwarded to another brand, CRM, assistant or AI tool. Google Mail and the devices used to access it may hold service, cached or synchronised copies.
Netlify provides website delivery and security infrastructure. IONOS provides the domain registration and authoritative DNS service that directs visitors to the website and email to Google Workspace. We may disclose limited information to professional advisers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Google Workspace and Netlify operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. For transfers to participating US organisations, the provider arrangements use the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by UK adequacy regulations. Where that framework does not cover a transfer, the provider arrangements use approved contractual safeguards, including the UK addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where applicable. Lucent Frame accepted Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum on 22 September 2026. Netlify's data-processing agreement forms part of its self-serve subscription agreement. IONOS is established in Germany; UK adequacy regulations cover transfers to the European Economic Area.

How long we keep information
Routine non-client enquiries are deleted 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We may delete them sooner when no longer needed. If an enquiry becomes client work, we explain the relevant engagement and record-retention arrangements separately. A narrowly documented legal requirement or dispute may require information to be held longer and reviewed.
Deleting information from Google Workspace instructs Google to delete unrecoverable customer data as soon as reasonably practicable and within a maximum of 180 days, unless applicable law requires storage. Copies cached or synchronised on Patrick's or Bryan's devices are deleted through the same operational review. Netlify's supporting-component logs are retained online for 90 days and offline for one year under its data-processing agreement. Lucent Frame does not create an additional visitor-analytics record in this release.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use or object to its use. Data portability applies only where its legal conditions are met. Rights are subject to applicable legal conditions rather than blanket guarantees. We may make proportionate checks to confirm identity before disclosing information.
Providing an enquiry is voluntary, but without enough contact and enquiry information we may be unable to respond. This website does not use automated processing to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.
Complaints
You can complain to us using the contact details above. We acknowledge a privacy complaint within 30 days, investigate it and provide progress information and an outcome without undue delay.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. This does not depend on Lucent Frame displaying an ICO registration number.
Changes
We review this notice when providers, purposes or data flows change. We will provide further information before using personal information for a materially different purpose where required.
